Notice how public school systems are teaching Spanish in elementary school now days. I never had this back in the 80s. However, I did take a couple semesters of Spanish in high school. Some will become furious if you tell them to learn spanish now also. They have no interest in doing so. Many that I have spoken with say that all Spanish speakers need to learn English like they did. This is the language we speak in the United States. I have no intention of moving to Spain and expecting everyone to learn English for my benefit. That doesn't really make much sense. So you can easily see how the Spanish issue is debatable. Should everyone learn this language or no?
