Why Learn To Speak Chinese?

One thing I've always found difficult is learning a foreign language. Now, I'll bet that you have taken some foreign language in the past. Even if you didn't proceed on to college, you surely had a couple semesters in high school. This is just routine now days. So which one did you take? Was it Spanish, French, German, Chinese, or Italian? I went with Spanish for one plain and simple reason; everyone was always telling me that it's the one I would use in America. Anyway, one thing I learned quickly is that it wasn't going to happen overnight. In fact, it would take quite a bit of time to accomplish. And even once I had learned the foreign language, I would have to use it or lose it. That's just the way it works. Now, things have changed a tad since my high school years of Spanish. Currently you can just hop on the web if you require help with a foreign language. Heck, you can even learn to speak Chinese from your living room couch. How crazy is that!

I've always wanted to learn to speak Chinese. I think it has to do with all those kung fu movies I've watched. For some bizarre reason they make me want to learn to speak Chinese and head off to an Easter country in search of a duel. Okay, well maybe not so much. Actually I love their calligraphy. The characters look amazing when written properly. Wouldn't you just love to be able to do that? Oh come on; if you say no, then I suspect you're fibbing. The Chinese culture is very baffling yet intriguing to us westerners. Many of us wish to know and understand more about their language, cultures and overall way of life. This is to be expected. I believe they feel the same way about us. One solution is to head on over to China and learn to speak Chinese from a native. Now, I don't know how easy this would be, but it's worth a shot. I know a few individuals who ventured to the Mainland to seek martial arts instruction from the pros. The training was severe, but they loved it. I will say this, if you ever want to learn something, it's best to go to the source.

You know if you hop online this very instant you can start to learn to speak Chinese. It's that simple. There are even free websites that will aid you in this process. However, if you're serious about it, but do not wish to seek assistance from others, you should purchase some software and learn to speak Chinese at home.
